Tatum Owenby

Tatum was born and raised on a small town farm in Hackett, Ark. At a very young age, his father taught him hard work and dedication are very important in life. Following a state championship appearance with the Greenwood High School football team in 1997, Tatum’s hard work paid off as he realized his dream of playing for the University of Arkansas.

Tatum was a three-year letterman and received numerous honors as a student-athlete at the University of Arkansas. "I'm very fortunate to have had the opportunity to play sports and at such a high level. I can personally say that athletics has been one of the greatest influences in my life. Sometimes, all young people need is an opportunity and I’m fortunate that I get to help provide greater opportunities for young athletes every day when I come to work. An inspirational coach once told me, 'If you want something you’ve never had, you’re going to have to do something you’ve never done before.'"
